The Multi-Class Weapon Pack: Tools for Every Hunt

The latest DLC for theHunter: Call of the Wild is called the Multi-Class Weapon Pack. It adds four new firearms to the game. No need for a single hunting style. The equipment allows you to shoot small birds, biggest game and anything in between.  So if you’re willing to go on some digital hunting this weekend, you might as well try something new. The bundle includes three standard rifles and one hybrid gun. Oh, and some fresh ammunition. As expected, the guns feel quite grounded. They have realistic recoil and bullet behavior. What else do you need to know? Let’s find out together after the trailer break!

Bringing Out the Big Guns

For hunting the heaviest animals, the pack offers the Richardsson .500. Or, to put in in other words: bring out the class eight and nine targets. It uses massive .500 Jeffery ammunition. Expect a heavy kick for such is the price for bringing down massive prey at a distance.

The Reliable Middle Ground

The ALIS Precision Shot .25-06 is your everyday mid-range option. This bolt-action rifle looks fine and it does have manageable recoil. But it’s a hungry thing. Make sure you have plenty of polymer-tip rounds for class three through seven animals. Or, lighter soft-point ammo for classes two through six. Both ammo types do their job well. Don’t go further than 200 meters thought. It won’t like that.

Precision for the Little Guys

If, on the other hand, you prefer hunting small predators and birds, the Joneros .17HMR is built for that exact purpose. This beautiful thing comes with a ten-round magazine. That’s like saying: feel free to miss, I’ve got you. And it does – it’s a reliable thing that sends them bullets in a very flat line. 125 meters on class one and two animals seems like the ideal thing here.

Two Guns in One

And then there’s the Cassidy Combination Gun. It is, by far, the most adaptable weapon in the set – a rifle and a shotgun built into one, featuring a .22 Magnum barrel alongside a standard twelve-gauge barrel. By holding down the reload button, you can swap between the two on the fly. Feel free to shoot a rabbit at a distance with the rifle, then quickly switch to shotgun shells if something bigger surprises you up close. It uses existing in-game ammo to cover animals from class one all the way up to class eight.

The only thing that’s left to say is: Happy Hunting!
