Developed by LemonChili Soft, Super Farming Boy is action-puzzle hybrid. It’s a game that trades meticulous backpack management for superhero-lite shape-shifting and chain-reaction puzzle solving.

Although we haven’t played the game, from what we’ve seen, the premise is absurd in the best way. A cartoonishly greedy corporate villain has kidnapped close friends to the protagonist. The ransom? Crop yields. You’re forced to work your own land under an aggressive tax system. In this way the cozy farming loop is transformed into a high-stakes hustle to buy your loved ones back.
In Super Farming Boy there’s a total lack of traditional tools. You are the tool, physically morphing into a shovel, pickaxe, or hammer at the press of a button. FYI, you can fly. Also, instead of juggling slots in a menu, your seeds and helper pets are living companions. They simply trail behind you across the map.

Satisfying combo system
By planting magical seed creatures in specific layouts, pulling a single crop can trigger a massive chain reaction that harvests the entire farm in one go. These combos double as your primary defense against invading pests and the game’s bizarre seasonal bosses.

Optimizing your harvest chains is cool but there are also mushroom power-ups to track down. Outside of that, you have idle pets to rescue to help. In return you can use them to automate the grind. At the end of the day, you can play with customizable furniture for your little house.
