A playable demo for Professional Fishing 2 has been available for a while now. The game has been coming along nicely, so, if you’ve been on the fence about buying it, the demo is your go to destination. You start out with a very humble setup but what’s there is more than enough for getting a good feel of what to expect..

You catch fish, sell them for cash, and use that money to buy better gear. Upgrading your tackle with new lures, baits, and sonars lets you try out different techniques like float, spinning, and feeder fishing. There’s also a built-in reputation system. It’s based on how you handle your catches. You are rewarded with points for good practices, So, you better use a keepnet or safely release fish back into the water.

You can test the waters in either first-person or third-person camera views. The preview focuses on solo play. Regardless, it gives a glimpse of the social features. We’re not fans of fishing, but we do see the huge potential here. Happy fishing.
