Finding the Value of Your Games: SteamCalculator

If you’re ready to be disappointed with your life choices after realizing how much money you’ve spent and how many unplayed games you have, then, boy, do we have a website for you. We recently spent some time looking at SteamCalculator, a web tool that helps figure out the rough value of a Steam account. We stared at the numbers, and so many games stared back at us.

Make sure your account is not set on private!

SteamCalculator works by looking at a user’s public profile. It checks all the games and items tied to the account and then it pulls up their current store prices, and adds them all together. The final number doesn’t show exactly how much money the user actually spent, but rather what the account is worth based on today’s prices.

You can also see the values of all the games if they were purchased during sales

It also reveals other useful data, like how many hours you’ve spent gaming, your average playtime, and—worst of all—how many games sit completely untouched.

So, how much money have you, ahem, invested into this lovely hobbie.
