PowerWash Simulator 2 is already a fantastic game. But now, the good people at FuturLab have slapped a Cartoon Network license on it, letting us blast the grime right off Princess Bubblegum’s floor. On paper, it shouldn’t work. Honestly, it’s a little embarrassing. And yet, we simply cannot stop playing it.

Cleaning on a different level
First-person dirt removal using a variety of interchangeable nozzles and angles.
Co-op multiplayer (split-screen and online) for synchronized scrubbing across five specific maps.
Vertical navigation and environmental puzzle solving via Jake the Dog’s stretchy form functioning as a mobile scissor-lift.
The Sisyphus of the Candy Kingdom
The DLC isn’t reinventing the wheel. This is still the exact same game where you point a hose, spray, and watch a tiny progress bar crawl across the screen until a wave of euphoria washes over you.
Now you have more opportunities to look for that one stubborn speck of dirt under the Ice King’s throne. That damned 0.1% you just can’t find. You get a new candy-colored nozzle, sure, but the real hook is Jake the Dog. He’s your scissor lift now. Bouncing around on his stretchy, weirdly fleshy torso to hit the high spots on the Tree House is hilarious. Then, there’s the co-op. Best of luck arguing with three buddies over who has to wash the tires at Pizza Sassy’s.

The new maps are amazing. A ton of effort clearly went into designing them, and we spent hours just admiring the incredibly satisfying transition from filthy environments to spotlessly clean locations. It works and we fully see it as a cheap form of therapy. Ooo looks amazing and runs flawlessly. Adventure Time Pack, just like the base game, is a solid way to shut your brain off for a few hours.
Hey, did you also know that:
FuturLab strictly enforces a zero-crunch policy for their development teams, an anomaly in modern game development.
This is the first officially licensed WB DLC for the sequel, proving the cross-brand partnerships from the first game are still a core studio strategy.
The Nintendo Switch 2 release of the DLC was intentionally delayed by several weeks following the primary launch on PC and current-gen consoles.
